Wild About Children Contributes $100,000 To Children’s Hospitals & Clinics Of Minnesota
In its six year history the Wild About Children event has contributed over $600,000 to benefit Children’s Hospital. Wild About Children, presented By R.F. Moeller Jeweler was held on Monday, Nov. 30 at Pazzaluna Urban Italian Restaurant in downtown St. Paul with proceeds benefiting Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
The entire Wild roster served as celebrity waiters and traded in their jerseys for aprons to wait on the 150+ guests in attendance. The event raised money through several fundraising vehicles, including a silent and a live auction. One lucky drawing winner received a $5,000 gift card toward a Rolex at R.F. Moeller Jeweler and a suite for a Wild game. The Wild donated tickets to Wednesday’s game to Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, and the children were able to witness the on-ice check presentation for $100,000.
