Win the 50/50 Raffle at Wild Home Games
Do you want to strike it rich? The Minnesota Wild and Xcel Energy Center are hosting a 50/50 raffle to benefit local charities, including Minnesota Hockey. The raffle, which kicked off on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, will be held at every remaining Wild home during the 2009-2010 season.
Raffle tickets may be purchased from the time gates open through the end of the second intermission at various locations throughout the Xcel Energy Center at a cost of $2 per ticket, three tickets for $5, or seven tickets for $10. The winning number, determined through a random drawing, will be announced during the third period. One lucky winner will take home half the net proceeds from that game’s raffle ticket sales, up to $10,000. That night’s designated charity will receive the other half.
One benefit of purchasing raffle tickets is the chance to cash in on some big pots. But the benefits go much further than that. All net profits from the 50/50 Raffle will benefit local charities which focus on children’s medical related causes, youth hockey in the state of Minnesota and educational initiatives.
